Ok, confession time - I was in LOVE Twilight... and with the final movie finally on DVD I'm in love all over again... so I pulled the "Twilight" paper out that I have been hoarding...
Its a work in progress, but here are the main ingredients: TP Rolls (flattened for month, b/c I was hoarding them, hoarded TP rolls - uhg...) balsa wood box from Michael's (yup hoarded that), Timmies pedestal feet (do I need to say it...), beaded crystal flower (uhm, yeah...)
I used the "hidden binding" system (found ALL over YouTube, Laura, Kathy...)
this one is a piece of paper as high as the TP roll, 6.6" long - scored LEFT (do this at the end for the right side side .5, .5,.5 (first hinge) then repeat this .25, .5, .5 that is the next hinge with a .25 gusset accounting for the TP space.
My teeny-tiny has five pages so just increase length and width for your mini - be sure to account for a flap to attach to covers.
Used the hitch post and the swivel clasp for the closure.
and inside is a teeny tiny mini... I need to embellish it now... soooooo more pix to follow :D - it's almost if I do it on purpose to get you to come back - muahahahaha... JK
Cute idea. Love that it fits nicely in the little box.
ReplyDeleteI do think you need therapy though, I can see it now on Dr. Phil - "I hoard toilet paper rolls"
Funny! (Well not as funny as you might think since I bet 2/3s of us crafters hoard the same things you do, how about the packaging from your bling, or the metal lids under the cap on coffee containers, or or or, .......
Have a good one.
