Learning to overcome creative growth and live with the fact that you CANNOT be perfect right out of the box... ((heavy sigh))
I tend to create, and then perfect... I'm certain I am not alone... BUT, I also tend to hide the progression - for instance I would simply delete the pix (and any evidence that my failures ever existed - TRASH!). I made these darling dress forms and then low and behold, a better way to make them popped-up... typical.
Here is the new one... yeah, ok so I made them a bit bigger (easier to work with) and yes I distressed the edges (as mentioned below)... But the flair came from the heat tool.. If you (like me) use the tulle from Hobby Lobby use a VERY light hand with the heat tool, it will curl and melt FAST... experiment and you will get the touch :)

Cut a bunch of the dress forms out - once you get going you won't want to stop... (Cricut CTMH Artiste' each form is 4.5"), I stamped an old favzie SU "Tres Chic"any graphic will work, I will do a few with some script.
I cut three pieces of tulle (about 6" each), ran a bead of hot glue across the waistline of the dress form, fold the tulle and press the fold into the glue. then add a strand of beads, trim, or little flowers to hide the fold/glue...
and then I made a few FUN RIBBON flowers...
and now off to work... hope you have a wonderful day.
