I discovered something about my recent goal of using what I have on hand - one I have a LOT of stuff on hand (buahahahaha)… two they don't coordinate perfectly and I think that might make me a little crazy (crazier), so I'm learning to try NOT to get wrapped around the axel matching the colors as much as finding things that are starkly different to bring them together…
I have had the Sizzix "Flower Pot Card" die for more than a minute, and I love it, but don't pull it out often enough - these are being added to my craft show inventory.
I love this rubber stamp - it further encourages that the image does not have to be PERFECT… I think it's from Michaels $1 bin...

The elements are a 12x12 piece of paper, corrugated & book page flowers (from the Sizzix Flower Pot die), and Martha Steward "Leaf Punch" using the scrap from the edges of the flower pot.
I offset the dictionary pages, and alternated between front and back and then punch a SU 1" punch for the center of the flower. I ran the bottom of the pot thru an embossing folder and lightly sponged with black to bring out the texture. A little burlap ribbon, and an organza bow with some bling to finish it off.
